Professor Nicolae Istudor, PhD.,
  • President of AFER – President of the Scientific Committee
  •  Rector of the Academy of Economic Sciences, President of the Committee of Economic Sciences and Business Administration of CNATDCU, President of the Association of Romanian Faculties of Economics (AFER) and Deputy Chair of the National Council for Higher Education Financing.

    He has received numerous awards and diplomas of excellence from several universities and institutions for university management performance.

    Expert at the UN-FAO HLPE (High Level Panel of Expert), but also founding member of the ALUMNI ASE Association.

    Author of numerous books, specialized courses and articles published in national and international journals, Mr. Istudor Nicolae has been awarded by several universities, the honorary academic title of “Doctor Honoris Causa”.

    In 2004, on the occasion of the National Day of Romania, he was decorated by the Romanian Presidency with the National Order “Faithful Service” as a knight for the activity developed for the rural development and efficiency of the agricultural and forestry branches within the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. In 2010 he was awarded the Diploma of recognition of the work in the agro-food sector by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

Professor Vasile Răileanu, PhD.,

Professor Răileanu is the author of specialized books in the fields of accounting and taxation and also author of many articles and specialized works in the fields of accounting and taxation.
He is a PhD supervisor and has supervised doctoral theses in the fields of accounting and taxation.
Mr. Răileanu participated as a member of the Scientific Council in scientific events at national level. He presented specialized papers at scientific events organized at national level in the fields of accounting and taxation.
He was and is a member of the scientific council of specialized journals in the fields of accounting, auditing and taxation.
Professor Liliana Ionescu-Feleagă, PhD.,
  • Vicepresident of CAFR, member of the Scientific Committee

Since 2003 a University Professor and since 2005 he has been a PhD Supervisor she also holds an international diploma in management from the University of Toulouse.

Member of the scientific team of the journals: Financial Audit, Journal of Accounting and Management Information Systems, Annals of the University of Oradea, Mrs. Ionescu-Feleaga has extensive academic experience (over 25 years at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest-ASE).

Currently, she is Dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Management Informatics within ASE Bucharest, member of the Board of Directors of the Academy of Economic Studies, member of CAFR, member of Accounting Education and Research, sole partner and administrator of Feleaga Contabilitate & Audit SRL.

Mrs. Liliana Ionescu-Feleagă held the position of Independent Director of BRD –Groupe Société Générale S.A.

Professor Maria Manolescu, PhD.,

Financial Auditor, member of CAFR since its establishment, she has been Vice-President of the organization and currently is an Honorary Financial Auditor.

Mrs. Maria Manolescu has an important expertise and numerous professional missions in the field, having a major involvement in the regulation of accounting and financial audit and in creating and strengthening the profession of financial auditor in Romania.

The professional experience in this field was also used in higher education – currently being an Emeritus Professor at ASE Bucharest – as well as in numerous scientific research projects and specialty works.

Professor Ana Morariu, PhD.,

As a financial auditor since 2000, she has contributed to the development of CAFR by writing articles, materials and courses, lecturing in the country and abroad at conferences, congresses, workshops, etc. She was vice-president of the CAFR during 2011-2014 and alongside numerous council activities, she promoted professional training of auditors and trainees based on examples, case studies, applications.

As a representative of the Academia, she wrote numerous articles, books, studies, contributing to the development of university education and was the promoter of the introduction of Accounting and Tax Management disciplines including Financial Audit at the Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems. She initiated and developed the Master program Financial Audit and Counseling, a program accredited by CAFR and CECCAR.

Statutory Auditor of CAFR

With over 15 years of experience in the field of financial audit with statutory audit, auditing financial statements prepared on the basis of group policies, IFRS, GAAP, audit of European Commission funds, Ms. Dinca is a financial auditor, member of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania since 2000 and a member of the Statutory Auditors Commission of CAFR.

Ms. Dincă also holds the titles of expert accountant and tax consultant and was awarded the special prize of WASME President for significant results in entrepreneurial activity.

Clemente Kiss, PhD.,
  • member of the CAFR Council, member of the Scientific Committee

He is a member of CAFR Council and technical committees for both CAFR and the Romanian Ministry of Finance and been involved in significant projects, such as the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards. He is also a member of Corpul Expertilor Contabili si Contabililor Autorizati din Romania (the Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania, or CECCAR) and a member and Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Mr. Clemente Kiss joined the IFAC Professional Accountancy Organization (PAOs) Development Committee in June 2015 after being nominated by the Chamber of Financial Auditors in Romania (CAFR).

Mr. Kiss has been a Partner, Head of Audit Practice of Nexia CRG since 2020. He previously worked for KPMG Romania since 2009 as Director of Regulatory Affairs and Audit, for EY Romania, as Senior Manager in the field of insurance and business consulting services, and ARBOmedia, as Chief Financial Officer.

Holds a bachelor degree in Economics (accounting and IT systems), a master’s degree in Audit and Accounting and a Ph.D. in Accounting, all from the Academy of Economic Studies. He has also authored and co-authored a number of articles, studies, and surveys on developing the accountancy profession and has spoken at many different conferences.

Professor Sobolevschi-David Iulia-Maria, PhD.,
  • Vice President of the Chamber of Fiscal Consultants, member of the Scientific Committee

Doctor of Economics, PhD professor at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest – Department of Economic-Financial Analysis within the Faculty of Accounting and Management Informatics. Member of the Chamber of Fiscal Consultants, of the Body of Expert Accountants and Certified Accountants, of the National Association of Appraisers in Romania, of the Romanian Society of Economic-Financial Analysis, of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania.

Consultant in accounting, taxation, evaluation, economic-financial diagnosis, collaborator of KG Audit & Accounting SRL in the activity carried out by about 180 companies.

Oana Buhăescu,
  • Audit Director, Deloitte, member of the Scientific Committee

With an extensive knowledge of auditing and advisory services for more than 13 years, Oana is an Audit Director as well as Deputy Professional Practice Director (PPD) for Deloitte Romania and responsible for the coordination of the Cluj Napoca office audit team.

Oana’s portfolio is mostly dual reporting – Romanian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and she has experience in US GAAP and SOX audits.

In addition to the financial audit engagements, Oana was involved in due diligence projects, market research and business plans, as well as advisory services. She is a member of Romanian Chambers of Auditors (CAFR), a member of Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania (CECCAR), as well as ACCA member and a certified fiscal consultant.

Monica Movileanu,
  • Partner Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services, Assurance, PwC Romania, member of the Scientific Committee

Monica joined the PwC Romania 15 years ago and since 2018 she is Assurance Partner.

She specializes in financial audit services (Statutory, IFRS and US GAAP) for both local and multinational companies, in sectors such as FMCG, trade, real estate and utilities. Monica also provided advice for public, air and rail transport companies.

Monica has a degree in Finance, Insurance, Banking and Stock Exchanges from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. Since 2009 she is a member of the Romanian Chamber of Tax Advisors (CCF).
